Carlo Ancelotti decides to give 19-year-old striker Marvel another chance

The young striker could make his debut in the first team in the match against Real Sociedad

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti announced on Saturday the call-up of youth squad striker Marvel for the match against Real Sociedad, corresponding to the 32nd matchday of LaLiga Santander.

Marvel, 19, is a striker who stands out for his physical power and his goalscoring ability. He has been one of the most outstanding players in Real Madrid Castilla this season, scoring nine goals in 22 matches.

The call-up of Marvel is due to the injuries of Karim Benzema and Mariano Díaz. The French striker suffers from discomfort in the left quadriceps, while the Dominican has muscle problems in the right leg. With both casualties, Ancelotti decided to call up Marvel to complete the attacking line.

Marvel could make his debut in the first team in the match against Real Sociedad. The match will be played on Sunday, April 9, at the Reale Arena in San Sebastián.
