Cole Palmer put on an unforgettable performance as Chelsea secured a thrilling 4-3 Premier League victory over Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. The 20-year-old midfielder was at the heart of the Blues' attacking play, scoring a brace and setting up another.
Palmer's night of magic began in the 25th minute when he received a pass from Mason Mount and fired a low drive into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. He doubled his tally just before halftime, expertly controlling a cross from Reece James and volleying home from close range.
Manchester United fought back after the break, with Marcus Rashford scoring twice to level the match. However, Palmer refused to be denied, restoring Chelsea's lead in the 70th minute with a stunning solo effort. He collected the ball deep in his own half, dribbled past three United defenders, and slotted the ball past David de Gea.
